 Purchasing Online!! Are you OK with it??

These days Online Shopping become a routine or preferred method of purchasing and it will be interesting to see the factors behind the same.  I have gone through this and noticed that people are interested in buying online, especially electronic items to the following reasons:

In most cases, they are relatively cheaper than buying from the store

Online selling sites now have a policy of returning the goods if the goods are received damaged or not as per the interest of the Customer.

Enough time to review and compare products which helps them to get all the details about the product easily

Buy anything, anywhere at any time.  Some items may not be available nearby to your Supermarkets, which definitely come to you in a few hours’ time if you opt for an online shopping method.

Comment section and online doubt clearing on the site, which is based on the review of customers on the products that helps us to get the review of the product

After all Return Policy and nearby Customer Contact Centers also attract the Customer for buying from Online site.

Finally, if you are lucky, you will get periodical discounts and stock clearance and EMI facility on reasonable terms also an attraction from Buying from the Online store.

If you don’t have a digital currency form like Credit Card / Debit Card, still you have the option of buying from the site using the Cash on Delivery Method.

 

In consideration of Customers varying behavior, there are a lot of Psychological approaches by the Marketing team of Online Shopping sites which also influence the buyers to stick on with Online shopping sites:

 

Customers always rely on Shopping Sites, which have more transparency in their business.  In this case, Customers prefer the Vendors based on their information like Commitment to the Delivery Schedule, Clear and understandable Return Policy, Shipping cost, etc.   If there is a chance of any hidden charges, rather than what they published, then the entire attitude of the Customer may change and they will permanently leave the site.

 

Customers always rely on social back-ups which is basically a psychological phenomenon where people before making any buying decision, like to check out reviews, recommendations from others, and social media.  Realizing this part, online sites are always publishing the reviews and star ratings of their products which are normally considered as genuine insertions from real customers.
